By accessing or using Nexus ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
Nexus is an integrated platform providing social networking, messaging, dating, job search, learning, marketplace, gaming, and additional services. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Certain features may require additional agreements or subscriptions. We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any feature or service.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Each individual may maintain up to three profiles (personal, creator, and business). You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
You retain ownership of content you post on Nexus. By posting, you grant Nexus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Service. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines without prior notice. Repeat violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
Certain features of Nexus require paid subscriptions (Pro or Business plans). All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable law. Marketplace transactions are between buyers and sellers; Nexus acts as a platform facilitator and is not a party to these transactions.
The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, code, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Nexus Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without explicit written permission. User-generated content remains the property of the respective users, subject to the license granted in Section 4.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nexus does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not endorse or guarantee any user-generated content, marketplace listings, job postings, or dating profiles.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nexus Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Nexus in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
